Midnight Special is a talented young trio consisting of Amy Atkinson (vocals, fiddle, piano), Sam Leahy (guitar, banjo) & Tim Yates (double bass, melodeon, brass).

Brought up on the traditional folk & acoustic music scene whilst acquiring their own individual influences on the way, they came together as a band in 2005.

Their unique style brings together an eclectic mix of folk, blues, jazz, swing, rockabilly and skiffle, plus their own self penned material.

Also an experienced ceilidh band with a line-up that includes drums, they regularly perform at festivals and private functions.
