Midnight Special are a talented young trio whose unique style brings together an eclectic mix of folk, blues, jazz, swing and rockabilly plus a developing collection of their own self-penned material.
Brought up on the traditional folk & acoustic music scene they came together as a band in 2005. Having been embraced by fans and critics alike, their debut album ‘Arriving…’ demonstrates their ability to interpret old classics such as 'I Saw the Light' and 'Down and out Blues' whilst brilliantly showcasing the song writing talents of bandleader Amy Atkinson. Midnight Special are becoming increasingly popular on the folk & acoustic music scene, generating a buzz whenever they perform.
